- An extensive source of information. As a
major reorganization of governmental offices
took place in January 2001, MITI (the Ministry
of International Trade and Industry) has
changed its name to the Ministry of Economy,
Trade and Industry. Along with it, JPO has
changed its English name to Japan Patent
Office from Japanese Patent Office and the
web address to <http://www.jpo.go.jp>.

Its important decisions are posted on the
day or within a few days decisions are handed
down, but this is in Japanese only. This
site now posts full (almost) Japanese texts
of all IP-related decisions rendered by Tokyo,
Osaka and other district and high courts
in a matter of a day or two.
